WHAT TO EXPECT🧡

After your Dermamelan or Cosmelan mask is removed:

🔥 Redness, warmth, tightness and sensitivity are very normal

🪵 Peeling and flaking usually begin within 2–3 days and can be moderate to intense

This is a months-long program (usually around 4–6 months) with strict home care, not a one-and-done peel.

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT (POST-CARE)

🔑 Key rule: Only use the mesoestetic home-care products and routine I give you.

(Dermamelan or Cosmelan cream, Melan Recovery, Melan 130 Pigment Control SPF, etc.).

Mixing in your own actives can cause irritation or compromise results.

First 72 hours

🙌 Hands off – no rubbing, scratching, or picking.

🧼 Cleanse very gently with the recommended mesoestetic cleanser.

💧 Apply your soothing balm (Melan Recovery or equivalent) as often as needed to reduce tightness and stinging.

☀️ Stay strictly out of the sun and away from heat source such as hot showers, saunas, hot yoga, intense workouts,

or cooking over a hot stove.

💄 Makeup is usually avoided for at least the first 24 hours, or longer if your skin feels very sensitized

(I’ll guide you based on how you’re healing).

Days 3–7

The Peeling Phase 🪶

Expect significant peeling and flaking – this is normal and part of the process.

🚫 Do not pick, peel, or scrub the skin. Let it lift and shed naturally to avoid pigment rebound or scarring.

Continue:

🧼 Gentle cleansing as directed

💧 Soothing + hydrating mesoestetic products

☀️ Very high SPF (SPF 50+ / Melan 130) every morning, reapplying every two hours, if you’re outdoors.

Avoid:

Any acids, scrubs, retinoids, vitamin C serums, or “anti-aging” actives

Heat, sweating, and direct sun

Weeks 2–4: Regulating & Repairing ✨

Redness and peeling gradually settle, but skin may still feel sensitive, dry, and tight at times.

Follow the Dermamelan or Cosmelan home-care schedule exactly

☀️ Sun avoidance + daily high SPF are non-negotiable.

🚫 Still no peels, lasers, microneedling, waxing, threading, or depilatory creams until I clear you.

Months 2–6

Maintenance & Results 💫

This phase is all about keeping pigment away and maintaining your new brightness.

You’ll continue using:

Your Dermamelan or Cosmelan cream as instructed

Recovery Balm (or equivalent soothing hydrator) as needed

UVA/UVB SPF 50+ every single day, year-round

Think: consistent routine, no surprise actives, no “trying something new” without checking with me first.

We’ll walk this journey together your job is consistency and protection.

My job is to guide, adjust, and support your skin through every phase.

This is long-game pigment work… but the glow, clarity, and confidence are worth it.
